Two large-scale CPN2480 NC gantry boring and milling centers: the determinate beam of the gantry is 3.2m in height, 3m in width, with a maximum load of 85t and a maximum machining length of 8m. Equipped with advanced 18i-MB NC system made by Franks of Japan, the gantry has five axes in linkage, and the resetting accuracy of each axis is less than 0.02mm; these two equipments are mainly used for the boring, milling and grinding of intermediate shafts of slipper-type universal shaft of heavy plate mills, as well as boring, milling and grinding treatment of the bases of large equipments. These equipments have unique advantages when processing random curved surfaces and NC forming of slipper curved surfaces of large slipper-type universal shafts. Key accessories: 1: fully closed NC rotating table, with a rotating accuracy of 3sec, a vertical load capacity of 45t and a two-tip load capacity of 65t; this rotating table is mainly used to machine the internal gears and inner & outer gear sleeves of large crowned tooth spindles hot rolling wide & heavy plate mills, with original Toshiba tools installed to improve manufacturing accuracy and quality; the maximum gear modulus machined by this rotating table is 60mm. 2: the 5th axis, which in linkage with X, Y, Z and A axis, has successfully completed the simulative forming of SWC forked aluminum mould 2.4m in length, and thus we have obtained precious experiences in NC automatic processing.
